Gather in the HillsTeam Retreats
Set on 90 private acres in the Hudson Valley, Hilltown Commons hosts teams, creatives, and mission-driven organizations for gatherings shaped by the land and its legacy. From a focused half-day meeting to a multi-night retreat, the campus adapts to what your group needs.
As a nonprofit, every gathering here sustains local jobs, stewards our protected land and historic buildings, and supports the arts and community programming that live here year-round. Your offsite creates real impact.
Find Your Format
Half-Day Conference
A focused block of time for meetings, presentations, or working sessions. Exclusive use of our auditorium or multipurpose room, both fully equipped with A/V. Partial access to campus grounds. Seamless setup and breakdown so you stay present with your group.
Full-Day Conference
Everything in the half-day, extended. Morning through evening, with farm-fresh lunch and optional dinner from The Pub. Time between sessions to walk the grounds, reset, and return sharper.
Overnight Retreat
Full campus access across multiple days. Private lodging in one or more of our five residences, all meals included, curiosity-driven programming optional. Some teams want structured workshops and facilitation; others just need the setting and the space to do their thing. We can scale to either.

An iconic 1970s multi-purpose pavilion featuring a 180-seat auditorium, offices, and breakout rooms—all equipped with state-of-the-art A/V and high-speed WiFi.
Onsite Dining
A historic carriage house-turned restaurant, affectionately referred to as The Pub. Seats up to 120 guests indoors, 300 outdoors, with a menu built on local farm partnerships and a curated beverage program.
90-Acre Grounds
Trails, open fields, and a tennis court, framed by views in every direction. Adjacent to Huyck Preserve, with access to hiking, kayaking, swimming, and more.
Curiosity-driven experiences & workshops
Alongside dedicated time for your team’s work, we offer curiosity-driven workshops led by local craftspeople and subject experts who use making to encourage leadership and collaboration.

The Folks Behind Hilltown
From mission-driven tech start-ups to healthcare, law, and community organizing, our team has built and led organizations across sectors. We understand what it takes to bring everyone together and design retreats that balance focus and fun.
While some of our team members have shaped this campus for decades, others represent a new generation continuing to build upon its roots. Together, we welcome organizations like yours to gather here, continuing a long-standing tradition of curiosity at The Commons.
