Hilltown Commons is a nonprofit retreat and arts campus operating year-round programs, public events, and residential gatherings across arts, education, and civic life.

Nestled in the Helderberg Hilltowns with sweeping views of the Catskills, our campus offers more than just a getaway. It is a space intentionally designed for focused work, fresh ideas, and meaningful connection.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are committed to making transformative experiences accessible while supporting artists, educators, and change-makers in their most important work.

A carriage house converted to a pub, an iconic 70s auditorium where Isaac Asimov routinely lectured, the stately 1890s home that started it all—every inch of Hilltown Commons is a testament to the history that distinguishes it.
